I'm considering Hankook Dynopro ATM tyres for the 200 series.

Great Load Rating for towing.

Anyone got any experience with these???

We ran those tyres on our Ford Courier 4WD which was used as a courier vehicle they outlasted other brands by miles. I have heard many good reports from others in the Pilbara who used them too.

Hi GB, Is that the new RF 10. If so I have just put them on the Troopy with the ride difference between them and the split rims being "chalk and cheese"
Get a price from Commercial Tyres in Bayswater, as they saved me quite a bit. No associated interest yada yada.
Client of mine does tours through the kimberley (no "s") and has Hankook on his bus and trailers so I figured they must be half reasonable.

Cheers

Yes, it is the RF10.

Hankook Dynopro ATM. I'm looking at the 265/70X17. It has a Load Rating of 121 (1450kg) so there should be some strength in the sidewalls (OEM 1250kg) and it pretty closely matches the OEM for speedo reading (OEM at 100kph, Hankook will show 98kph)

Gone Bush,
We now run them at work ( open cut coal mine). Tried most of the M/T types, bridgys, BFG, etc. Even ran Dynapro M/Ts. All the cruisers are swapping over to the A/T's now but may change when the wet season starts.

Gone bush, we have them on our Patrol ute seem very good, both in the wet and the dry we tow a 2.4ish tonne van had Toyo's before got about 40,000 out of them pulled up at random inspection your front tyres are illegal a warning so the Hankooks took over more than happy at the mo.
cheers honest

What's the Speed rating on the Dynapro compared to the Factory fitted one's which are "H" rated. Just wondering as a future replacement on my 200, without getting into a sh1tfight with insurance at some stage.

Shaver they are rated at 180 as opposed to 210 for the OEM.

I figure an insurance company would have you for exceeding the highest speed limits in the country if you were doing 180, let alone 210. I'd rather a tyre that can carry the weight.

It's certainly a conundrum isn't it? But the Ins Comapnies would have to see commonsense, surely.....
